Marcus T. Seymore—professionally known as SeeMoreand performing under his music brand, SeeMore Sings—is a Chicago-born singer, actor, and live performer whose artistry blends soul, storytelling, and sound. Raised in the church and polished on stages around the world, he is a versatile vocalist with a rich second-tenor-to-bass-baritone range, moving effortlessly through gospel, classic R&B, soul, house, and smooth jazz.
For more than 26 years, Marcus has served as a lead vocalist with the award-winning Chicago Mass Choir, touring internationally and appearing on recordings including He That Believeth (2011), God Is Good (2016), and Thank God for the Blood (2024).
Most recently, Marcus is featured on the new single Be Yourself, an inspirational empowerment anthem written and produced by Chicago’s own Professor Isaac Williams.
In addition to his work as a lead and solo vocalist, Marcus is a professional background vocalist who travels nationwide and abroad, supporting artists in live performances, special engagements, and major musical events. His background vocal work includes performances with acclaimed soul artist Terisa Griffin, bossa nova jazz artist Baritone Harper, and other artists across a variety of musical settings.
A seasoned stage actor, Marcus’ theater credits include Black Nativity, Sister Act: The Musical, and The Color Purple. As a solo soul artist, he performs throughout Chicago’s clubs, lounges, supper clubs, and special events, blending soulful vocals, sophistication, and genuine audience connection to create memorable live experiences.
